This fall, the Kingston dance is moving to a new venue, the South Kingstown Land Trust "barn," located at 17 Matunuck Beach Road, right off US Route 1 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. We held the last two dances of the spring season at the Land Trust, and people were very enthusiastic about it. It's called the barn only because it was built on the site of a previous barn; the building itself is a charming, rustic, cedar-shingled hall with a beautiful wood floor.
It's about a mile from the shore, and, if the wind is right, you can smell the ocean....
